Web Maintenance

Someone watching the site after everyone stopped looking.

Most sites are fine for a year and then quietly are not — a plugin update that never happened, a certificate that lapsed, a backup nobody tested. Maintenance is the unglamorous work that keeps that from becoming an emergency.

What you get

What the work actually covers.

  • Backups you could actually restore from

Taken on a schedule and kept off the server they came from. A backup nobody has tried to restore is a hope, not a plan.

  • System and plugin updates

Applied deliberately rather than automatically, because the update that breaks a site is usually the one that installed itself overnight.

  • Security scanning and malware cleanup

Regular scans, and if something does get in, cleanup starts immediately rather than after a support ticket works its way up a queue.

  • Uptime monitoring around the clock

The server is watched continuously, so a site being down is something we tell you about rather than something a customer does.

  • Content updates on request

Articles, photographs, price changes. Most light requests are finished the same working day.

  • A monthly report

What was updated, what was blocked, what got faster. Plans are billed hourly, monthly or yearly, and hosting and domain renewals can be folded into the same invoice.

FAQ

Before you ask.

Can you maintain a site another agency built?
Yes, and it is a normal way to start. The site is audited first so we understand how it was put together, and routine maintenance begins once we know what we are looking after.
How do I ask for a change to the site?
Send the instruction and the material — the article text, the product photographs — by email or on the client WhatsApp line. Light requests such as publishing an article or swapping an image are usually done within hours, on the same working day.
Do I have to sign an annual maintenance contract?
No. An annual plan is the best value, but maintenance is also sold hourly or monthly so it can be matched to the budget rather than committed to in advance.
What happens if my site is hacked?
That is what the plan is for. Sites under maintenance get malware removal, the hole that allowed it closed, and a restore from a recent backup where one is needed. Prevention runs continuously alongside it: routine malware scanning, a firewall, system and plugin updates, and 24/7 uptime monitoring so an outage is noticed here rather than reported by a customer.
