Fine dining

Mozaic Bali

Mozaic has been serving tasting menus in Ubud for years, and sells four quite different experiences under one roof — the dining room, the cocktail bar, a chef's table and a gazebo for two. The site's job is to let a visitor tell those apart before they book.

What the site does

Built around how the business runs.

  • Four dining formats presented as distinct experiences rather than a single menu page
  • Seasonal menus published as downloadable PDFs — food, botanical, wine, chef's table, champagne and caviar
  • Reservations and gift vouchers routed through WhatsApp, which is how bookings actually arrive
  • A What's On section for one-off events: caviar dinners, seasonal gastronomic journeys
  • Team and chef biographies, plus careers
  • Partner marks including Les Grandes Tables du Monde

Decisions

Why it was built this way.

  • Built on Webflow, on purpose

A restaurant that changes its menu with the season needs to publish without a developer in the loop. Webflow lets the kitchen's calendar drive the site rather than a release cycle.

  • Menus as documents, not pages

Tasting menus change often and are read at the table as much as on the site. Publishing them as PDFs means one file serves the website, the email and the print-out.
